Prices also differ based on the restaurant’s proximity, which is why I compared the total I would have paid when I ordered at the Mediterranean restaurant half a mile from me and the Mexican restaurant located 4 miles from me. If I had requested two falafels at The Mediterranean eatery, DoorDash always would’ve been 5 dollars more over Uber Eats because Uber Eats has an exclusive 99-cent delivery charge for this restaurant.
If you were to order two burritos at The Mexican eatery, DoorDash was only a small amount cheaper at non-peak times or dinner times. But, at lunchtime, DoorDash was significantly less costly than Uber Eats because it cut its delivery fee by 4 dollars.

The bottom line is that no anyone is consistently less expensive than others. Prices fluctuate unexpectedly according to the purchase time and distance to the restaurant.
